“Education is the manifestation of talent already in human”

It is the era of providing holistic education. But the question is, What do we mean by holistic education?

Holistic education, in the broadest sense of the term, means education that proves beneficial to one and all. It is that kind of Education that goes beyond the narrow prejudices of class-divide, is inclusive in its approach and ushers in progressivism of thought, speech and is manifested via practice in the real sense of the term.

As the famous educationist, John Dewey, has clearly stated-

“Education is not preparation for life. Education is Life”. In keeping with this ideal of learning, a holistic approach can only be ushered into the system we have been carrying on with so far, if each one of us endeavours towards a curriculum that can be adaptable to the need of the hour. This curriculum will help students in understanding concepts from life. Books, therefore, won’t be limited to just facts, but will reinforce a spirit of humanism. The entire atmosphere of the school should resound with a conducive environment, dedicated completely to the cause of humanity.

In this regard, we look forward to achieving our aim-Education for all!

मेरे प्यारे बच्चों,

"शिक्षा मनुष्यों में पहले से ही प्रतिभा की अभिव्यक्ति है"

यह समग्र शिक्षा प्रदान करने का युग है। लेकिन सवाल यह है कि समग्र शिक्षा से हमारा क्या तात्पर्य है? व्यापक अर्थ में समग्र शिक्षा का अर्थ है ऐसी शिक्षा जो सभी के लिए लाभकारी सिद्ध हो। यह उस प्रकार की शिक्षा है जो वर्ग-विभाजन के संकीर्ण पूर्वाग्रहों से परे है, अपने दृष्टिकोण में समावेशी है और विचार, भाषण की प्रगतिवाद की शुरूआत करती है और शब्द के वास्तविक अर्थों में अभ्यास के माध्यम से प्रकट होती है। जैसा कि प्रसिद्ध शिक्षाविद् जॉन डेवी ने स्पष्ट रूप से कहा है- "शिक्षा जीवन की तैयारी नहीं है। शिक्षा ही जीवन है"। सीखने के इस आदर्श को ध्यान में रखते हुए, एक समग्र दृष्टिकोण केवल उस प्रणाली में लाया जा सकता है जिसे हम अब तक चला रहे हैं, यदि हम में से प्रत्येक एक ऐसे पाठ्यक्रम की ओर प्रयास करता है जो समय की आवश्यकता के अनुकूल हो सकता है। यह पाठ्यक्रम छात्रों को जीवन से अवधारणाओं को समझने में मदद करेगा। इसलिए, पुस्तकें केवल तथ्यों तक सीमित नहीं होंगी, बल्कि मानवतावाद की भावना को सुदृढ़ करेंगी। स्कूल का पूरा वातावरण एक अनुकूल वातावरण के साथ गूंजना चाहिए, जो पूरी तरह से मानवता के लिए समर्पित हो। इस संबंध में, हम सभी के लिए अपने लक्ष्य-शिक्षा को प्राप्त करने के लिए तत्पर हैं!
